Abby Kirk, Owner / Director

Originally from Shelby, MI, Abby Kirk grew up training in ballet, pointe, tap and jazz in Ludington, MI.  After graduation, Abby continued studying with the Dance Masters of America Teachers Training Certification in Buffalo, NY.  She began teaching dance part-time in 2007. In 2008, she opened her dance school, Relevé Dance, in Whitehall, MI.  In addition to her dance training, Abby has also been certified to teach tumbling and acrobatics through the Acrobatic Arts teacher certification courses.  She completed Module 1 in 2015 and Module 2 in 2018 along with special workshops in Aerials and Back handsprings.  She has received additional certifications in Power Pilates Mat I, TurboKick, and PIYO (Pilates / Yoga Fitness). Abby has worked many years alongside her father, Tom Kirk, in stage lighting and technical design.  She continues her training through dance conventions, master classes and summer studies.
